09.01.2025

Château du Clos de Vougeot - Seminar room near BeauneThe monks of the Cîteaux Abbey built buildings dedicated to wine-growing in the middle of the vineyards from the 12th century. This architectural ensemble was enriched in the 16th century by the addition of a main building in the Renaissance style. Nestled in the heart of the famous Route des Grands Crus, the Château du Clos de Vougeot is accessible all year round to visitors, whether they are passionate about history, architecture or oenology. Renowned for its international receptions, this unique place never fails to amaze its guests. Although the château no longer produces wine today, it remains a living symbol of nearly a thousand years of wine-growing history in Burgundy. Listed as a historic monument, the Château du Clos de Vougeot is also the prestigious headquarters of the Brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevin, thus guaranteeing the perpetuation of Burgundian traditions.
